Filling the Just Transition finance gap:
the role of Private capital

The Just Transition Fund will bring investments of up to CZK 42 billion to the coal regions. However, projects being considered for funding in the regions total nearly CZK 500 billion. Furthermore, a comprehensive and meaningful just transition will go on far after the end of the current MFF. EU funding beyond that time is uncertain. How can private capital play a role in funding the just transition. This workshop will explore sustainability bonds and other sustainable investment tools. The event is organised with support of the British Embassy in Prague.
