JUNIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER  

We are looking for a talented Junior Graphic Designer to cooperate with our Prague-based team. This is an external cooperation opportunity ideal for freelancers or students.  

ABOUT ISFC  
The International Sustainable Finance Centre (ISFC) is an independent and apolitical not-for-profit think tank that specializes in sustainable finance. Through knowledge, capacity & solution building, and convening, ISFC empowers policy, business, and finance locally, regionally, and globally to reorient capital for maximum positive social, environmental, and financial impact. We are a small and growing team and we value integrity, good humour, and a sharp mind.      

WORK FOCUS  
👉 Branded Visual Content: Develop visually compelling presentations, websites, videos, and images that align with our brand guidelines and effectively communicate our mission and impact.  

👉 Design Innovation: Bring fresh ideas and innovative design solutions to enhance our visual identity and ensure our materials stand out in the field of sustainable finance.  

👉 Content Collaboration: Work with our communications team to transform complex data and insights into visually engaging and easily understandable content, such as infographics. Produce and edit high-quality multimedia content, including videos, to support our reports, campaigns, and outreach efforts.  

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS  
👉 Degree/Experience: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree.  

👉 Languages: Fluency in English and at least one regional language (Slovak, Polish, Hungarian, or Czech). Proficiency in multiple languages is an advantage.  

👉 Other skills: Problem-solving mindset and strong interpersonal communication.

INTERNS 

We are currently recruiting for 4-6 interns to help with the following focus areas:

  • Focus Area 1: communications and marketing- development and implementation of social media campaigns, stakeholder mapping, newsletter drafting

  • Focus Area 2: research and analytics - desk research focused on finance, ESG data analysis, EU Sustainable Finance agenda in practice (analysis of best practices related to CSRD, SFDR, CSDDD, and EU taxonomy implementation

  • Focus Area 3: design work & social media campaigns - design social media tiles, report covers/report templates, website design

  • Focus area 4: administration & event support - to assist with administrative elements: scheduling, taking notes of meetings, liaison

ABOUT ISFC

We are a small but growing team of former private sector professionals, which values integrity, good humour, and a sharp mind. The Centre started its operations in September 2020 and its offices are located in central Prague. We are looking for a team member who is happy to work independently and have some agency, and who is keen to establish her or his credentials in sustainable finance. We value talent and we will do our best to support professional and personal growth.

WORKING ARRANGEMENTS

We are looking for students (pursuing their B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree) who would like to work part-time for 6-10 months.

The professional responsibilities would include the following (list not exhaustive and can include some elements but not all, depending on the candidate's skillset and competencies).

FOCUS AREA 1: COMMUNICATIONS AND MARKETING FOCUS

  • Help with the planning and building of promotional and social media campaigns and their implementation

  • To create a bi-weekly newsletter

  • To source content for social media posts and the newsletter

  • To help with research on events and stakeholder mapping

  • To mapping of journalists and media

  • To help with the creation of a communications plan and campaigns for our flagship event: www.ceesummit.org and other side events

FOCUS AREA 2: RESEARCH & ANALYTICAL FOCUS

  • To carry out research and analysis on one of the project topics (our current projects can be seen on our website)

  • To analyse data and financial instruments, sustainability and finance data and reports

  • To find and evaluate relevant documents and regulation

  • To carry out assigned research tasks and to scrutinise financing mechanisms and their efficiency

  • To examine and scrutinise ESG reporting frameworks and practices, and to offer recommendations for improvement

  • To engage with a wide variety of stakeholders as part of consultation processes and research interviews

  • To contribute to larger reports, while meeting set deadlines

  • To write blog posts and shorter briefs if required or of interest, including opinion pieces for the media

  • To work as a member of a tight knit & friendly team

FOCUS AREA 3: DESIGN WORK & SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGNS

  • To design social media tiles, report covers/report templates, website design, infographic creation

  • To develop brand guidelines and templates

  • To help create pitch decks and client presentations

  • To assist with administrative elements: scheduling, taking notes of meetings

  • To help with event promotion

  • To feed ideas into design and promotions

FOCUS AREA 4: ADMINISTRATION & EVENT SUPPORT

  • To help design and prepare online and in-person events on relevant topics

  • To help with event organisation

  • To assist with administrative elements: scheduling, taking notes of meetings

  • To work with the team on supporting projects and liaison with stakeholders

  • To carry out coordination tasks and stakeholder mapping

  • To build and maintain databases and contact management systems

  • To help with website updates

  • To monitor and collate information, including website and LinkedIn page performance

  • To help prepare ISFC's annual report(s)

WHAT WE OFFER

Remuneration & work conditions - we pay all our interns. The number of days or full time equivalent will be agreed with each candidate. Our offices are at Scott Weber in Holesovice, one of the most modern spaces in Prague.
