The EU Sustainable Finance agenda in 2021:
Why EU Taxonomy matters

The ISFC, WiseEuropa and Equilibrium Institute are co-hosting a special event on the EU sustainable finance agenda for 2021 and its taxonomy regulation. With the EU’s goal to become carbon neutral by 2050, greening the EU’s financial system will play a key role in achieving this aim. In early2021, the European Commission is planning to reveal an even more ambitious sustainable finance agenda, one that strives to better integrate climate and environmental risks into the financial system and that strengthen the foundations for sustainable investment. This means that the regulatory landscape and incentive framework will change going forward, with a greater push for “green” spending. What will this mean for the Central European countries? What will it mean for non-financial and financial institutions?

10:00 - 11:00 - Public open-door part (streamed online)
